There are 21 billboards erected. Our goal is one in all 55 counties.

Clarksburg, WV – Jay Wolfe’s campaign has erected billboards that strike at the very heart of the most important issue of this election - high gasoline prices. The culprits are those, like Senator Rockefeller, in Congress who have consistently blocked Americans from drilling for oil in ANWR, the Pacific, the Atlantic and for shale oil in states like Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. “After 24 years in the U.S. Senate, Senator Rockefeller expects us to believe he favors energy independence from our reliance on foreign oil. Yet, he continues to vote against drilling in the U.S.,” Wolfe said.

The billboard asks, “Gas too high? Thank Rockefeller. He blocks drilling”. Jay Wolfe points out that Rockefeller’s latest vote against drilling occurred on May 13, 2008 and is documented in the records of the U.S. Senate.

Jay Wolfe’s goal is to erect billboards in all of West Virginia’s 55 counties. There are now 21 erected in the following areas:

Buckhannon.....................Huntington..........................Parkersburg
Bridgeport........................Lost Creek..........................Princeton
Clarksburg.......................Logan.................................Rockport
Elizabeth.........................Madison.............................West Union
Franklin...........................Martinsburg........................Winfield
Harrisville.........................Morgantown.......................Petersburg
Hampshire County............South Parkersburg
